CheckoutDynaTrap DT1050SR Mosquito & Flying Insect Trap Review

You hate mosquitos, admit it. They live
just to suck your blood, and the blood of your family, leaving huge
welts, and buzzing in your ear just as you are falling asleep.
Dynatrap makes a great fan powered mosquito trap, and the DT1050SR is
a great version. Forget about the little electric zap paddles, forget
about the little devices that are supposed to mimic the sound of a
male mosquito and drive the female ( which is the one that bites you
) away, they don't work. The Dynatrap 1050SR is a creation that will
change your world. If you have never had a mosquito trap before, you
are in for a treat! You can use the Dynatrap inside, where it is
quiet, and emits a low blue light that is actually comforting. You
can place the Dynatrap in the bathroom, where mosquitos tend to
congregate and wait, knowing from the smell that their prey will come
in sooner or later. Are you tired of running around the house trying
to kill any mosquito you can see before you go to bed? You know your
mother used to do just that, but she always missed a few and they
would come to get you. The Dynatrap just hums away, and acts as a
nightlight in the bathroom, but it is quietly destroying all of the
mosquitos that came to bite you and your family. You may think there
are no mosquitos in the house, but when you check the Dynatrap in the
morning, there they are dead in the trap. And every single one killed
in the house is a treasure. The Dynatrap 1050SR is stronger than most
mosquito traps though, as it is designed to be used outside, and
outside is where it really shines. The 1050SR has a larger capacity
than many mosquito traps, which means the trap won't fill up, and a
stronger fan to make sure the mosquitoes can't climb out. Some lesser
mosquito traps have tiny trays that can fill up and allow the bugs to
crawl back out, escape, and continue to bite you and your family. The
Dynatrap 1050SR is designed to cover a full half acre of land, which
means it can protect your campsite, or just your back yard. The 1050
comes without a permanent stand, so it looks good sitting on a
tabletop, along with being small and inobtrusive enough to be used
nearly hidden in a corner in the bathroom. You like to use a product
indoors that is strong enough to be used outdoors, but civilized
enough to blend in when inside. The Dynatrap 1050SR has a very clean,
polished look, somewhat like a camping lantern, but sleeker and more
futuristic, much more upscale than early mosquito traps. There are
other ways to battle mosquitos outdoors - some people like to use
propane powered devices that use little pads soaked with mosquito
repellent to blast a force field into the air. But when you use
these, you have to replace the propane, and replace the pads, and
really it is weird for you to have a propane burning device around
blasting out poison, it does not seem safe. The Dynatrap 1050SR is
very safe around children or pets. When using the 1050SR outside, it
has a very valuable feature, which is that it can actually break the
cycle of the mosquitos by killing them near where they are born, and
killing so many of them that they really kind of die off. This may
not be possible if you live right by a giant swamp with a steady
prevailing breeze heading your way. But if you live in an ordinary
backyard, with not that many places where mosquitos breed, the
Dynatrap can make a huge difference, and you will notice the
onslaught decreasing over weeks. Whereas if you only use the Dynatrap
inside, while every mosquito you kill is a personal victory, there
will be a continuing supply of them coming in from outside. When
using the Dynatrap outside, it is best to place it between your
family and the probable source of the mosquitos. This is because the
attraction of the Dynatrap may pull mosquitoes towards your family if
your family is between the source of the mosquitoes. The Dynatrap has
a special metal that produces CO2 just like the human breath. You may
decide to add a chemical that does this as well, or you may decide to
never buy a chemical that attracts mosquitos.
